    News

Flo has this month learnt to do a 1 ¾ front somy without the help of an overhead spotting rig.  The skill looks like a front somy and a crash dive all in one bounce, and looks fantastic!

EASTON COMPETITION

Thank you everyone for help and assistance with making the Easton open competition a great success.  We had a great day and have probably are  raised around £500 for the club.

Results should be on the noticeboard soon, so see how you all got on!

If you haven’t paid yet, please do so as soon as possible as it will save us having to chase around.  Individual entries were £7.50, syncro was £7.00 each.

We raised over £250 on the day through the raffle, tombola, cake stall and programme selling.  Thank you to everyone who contributed in some way to this, and a special thanks to George for all her hard work with this fund raising event.

Remember, its still really important that we raise money for the club.  Although we have new trampolines, we STILL haven’t paid for them yet, and in the meantime, one of our other trampolines needs a big repair so we can’t use it.  We desperately need the money to pay for these things, so if you have any other ideas for funding, and would like to be involved with the organisation of any fund raising event please let us know.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.

We now have a date set for our open competition, its 16th May.  The competition is for all members of the club, together with some other local clubs.  We have grades of routines from simple 5 bounce routines, up to National level.  If you have not competed before, it will be great fun so why don’t you give it a go?!

We will also be hosting a synchronised competition again and a ‘Russian Roulette’ competition where you are given a partner on the day so not much chance to practise first.

Cost is £7.50 per person, full details will be on the trampoline sides, and all coaches will have a copy of the routines.  Why not try out a routine just for fun, then see if you might like to compete too?  We will make sure the competition is fun and friendly.  You never know, it might be the start of many!

We are also desperately in need of helper during the day.  If you are able to help out please let George H or Jane know

SUMMER CLASSES

We may end up cancelling some classes in August, depending on whether people are around, and we have students willing to bounce.  Please let Rachel know if you are going away over the summer, as we will not run classes if no one is around!
